Triphala is a herbal formula used in the ancient science of Ayurveda.

The word Triphala translates as ‘three fruits’, which are Amla (or Amalaki), Bibhitaki and Haritaki. Triphala safely regulates the bowels. It is a mild internal cleanser and, although it is not considered a purgative in itself, it has a cleansing effect on the digestive system, colon and blood.
