Triphala is a herbal formula used in the ancient science of Ayurveda.
The word Triphala translates as ‘three fruits’, which are Amla (or Amalaki), Bibhitaki and Haritaki.
Triphala safely regulates the intestines. It is a mild internal cleanser and, although not considered a purgative in itself, has a cleansing effect on the digestive system, colon and blood.
It also strengthens the eyes and is a powerful antioxidant and antimicrobial, helps to eliminate body fat and facilitates digestion and evacuation.
